Save the Dubliner!!!

Brendan at the Cincinnati Beacon writes on the plight of the Dubliner, a great Pleasant Ridge restaurant in danger of closing. Brendan's take is that things look bad, and baring a lightning bolt from a Celtic God, we won't be able to hit the Dubliner after the 20th of this month.

I wish to echo his article and encourage folks to get out and support the restaurant.

  1. Does anyone know if The Dubliner will be open for St. Patty's Day 2006?

  2. I was wondering too when precisely they'd reopen. I saw last weekend that there was something scheduled for Sunday 12 March and that they were advertising for a St Patty's day thing. But not sure if it's still on schedule to open then....

  3. I called on Monday March 13 and they said they were having the St Patty's day tent as usual. Someone told me that Nick Lachey would be there (they heard it on the radio). I'm hoping it won't be even more busy that normal.

    See you there.

  4. WOW, I can't believe this special place has had such problems. It is a shame. I have only been there one time (would have gone more if a certain bag piper would have taken me) but I was very impressed. It is more than a neighborhood restaurant, it has wonderful atmosphere, music and great food.

    Good Luck Dubliner !
