The Enquirer is reporting that Chris Smitherman says he won the Cincinnati NAACP Chapter Presidential election, but the organization will not release the vote counts. It would appear that Smitherman graduated from the Hugo Chávez Charm School.
So much for legitimacy.
I suspect he did actually win, considering the election was monitored by the national organization. Also, he "grew" the chapter from hundreds to thousands in the past decade, including many new members from the tea party. You have to assume that the chapter rolls are packed with his people and that a challenge would be quite difficult.
ReplyDeleteI imagine Obama grew the ranks quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteInteresting that thy had problems with transparency when Slitherman got elected the first time, too.
