Transit tax levy faces opposition
The region needs this transit program, holding it up now will only keep the Federal Government from fully funding their portion. It is true the entire region should be flipping the bill for this system, and the sales tax increase is the way to do that, but don't hold back change now because you want more money now for your own pet projects. Luken, with Cranley in tow, is making hay with the anti-tax sentiments that run through almost every voter out there. Opportunism is not going to build a new transit system.

Lawsuit against boycotters dismissed
I am going to restate my scenario on this subject from my prior post on this issue. Would it now be legal for me to send a letter to suppliers that have contracted with Kroger to make shipments to the Cincinnati area with the following statements:
1. Since Kroger sells widgets and widgets are "evil", I am advising you not to ship you products to any store in Cincinnati.
2. If you do ship your products to Cincinnati, I cannot rule out the possibility that violence might breakout at some of those stores.
Is this a legal action? Is this not similar to what the boycotters have done?

A big warm welcome to the Blogosphere to Chris Anderson over at the Queen City Soapbox. I look forward to trading links and comments with another local Cincinnati Blogger. I have to thank him for listing my site on his, and I will soon be returning the favor.
Al Green Planning Free Concert For Blue Ash
Now will the boycotters claim to have made Al Green ill?

Hagan won't get $50,000 paid for Janeway's uniform
This story has the flash that at least the Enquirer's Tempo Section would have gone after. That is why I am shocked that I could not find it on their site today.

Taft, Hagan make tax returns public
Once again you would not know this happened if you only read the Enquirer or the Post.

Gov. Taft expected to campaign for math
This is not a news story; this is just reformatting a press release. I wonder if the Enquirer will do this for the Democratic candidate? I will not be holding my breath.
