The polls open soon and I am up bright and early. I will be pulling live turnout data from the Hamilton County BOE website today and parsing the City proper rates throughout the day.

Early look indicates a higher Absentee/Early vote turnout as compared to 2021. Nothing will approach turnout in 2023, which was fuel by the abortion ballot issue that year. Final turnout in 2021 was just under 25%. The increase in Absentee/Early vote is noticeable, 7.08% this year, with more to come, vs 6.18% in 2021. If you use the straight increase rate, then turnout could be 28.5% this year. I would expect that the increase will not be that high. Early votes totals are fickle and only one indication of turnout.
